Overcoming Acrophobia (fear of heights and being off the ground) 

Scared of heights?   Our highly trained and patient staff will spend 4 class sessions with you increasing your comfort and you will finish with a guided trip through the course.

Flexible Scheduling

We will collect your availability and work to schedule a class time that can work with the small groups schedule.  We will be available in evenings or early mornings and we will be sure to find a time that can work with your schedule.

Small Class Sizes and Personal Attention

Our groups will be limited to a max of 8, but many classes will only have 3-4.  There will be a maximum of 3 students to 1 staff member for the times when we enter the course so that you get the attention necessary to help you overcome your fears.

Trained Staff

Our experienced and certified staff will walk you thru each piece of equipment and obstacle/challenge, so you can feel encouraged, empowered and emboldened each step of the way.

Program Itinerary

Week 1 - will be an intro to the team and all equipment
Week 2 - will be to start getting off the ground via a slack line and maybe up to the cadet course. Depending on the groups comfort level.
Week 3 - will be starting on the slackline, then move to cadet’s level then to 2nd story, staff to participant ratio will be 3:1
Week 4 - will be going up to the 3rd floor and then to the zipline (we will have extra staff  


Detailed Outline

Week 1
▪ Introduction of what we will do during each of the 4 sessions
▪ Discussion / get to know your teammates (5 - 10 min)
▪ Team building activities (10 - 15 min)
▪ Equipment intro (emphasis on safety)     
        Detailed description of what the harness is and how it is designed to hold a person
        Detailed description of how the Bornack claw system works
▪ put on a harness, ground school, climb up to the first set of platforms. (15 - 30 min)
▪ Walk across the slack line which is about 20” - 24” off the ground
The slackline will allow participants to get used to their feet shaking close to the ground while still being suspended off the ground

Week 2
▪ Team building activities (10 - 15 min)
▪ put on a harness, ground school, climb up to the first set of platforms. (15 - 30 min)

▪ Ascend into the course. Goal is to get across the cadet’s cargo net and back.
If all goes well, we will continue around the perimeter of the cadet’s course

Week 3
▪ Put on a harness, ground school, climb up to the first set of platforms. (15 - 30 min)
Repetition helps build security
▪ Ascend into the course. Goal is to get across the cadet’s cargo net and back.
If all goes well, we will continue around the perimeter of the cadet’s course
▪ Ascend to the second floor on the south side of the course
Goal is to walk in a square around a section of the 2nd level

Week 4
▪ Put on a harness, ground school (15 - 30 min)
Repetition helps build security
▪ Ascend into the course and start making our way to the 3rd floor and the zipline
The route will be the shortest way to the zipline
▪ Participants will get assisted through the zipline by our staff.

Conquer dance!
After conquering your fear of heights, participants will receive a free 1-hr pass to come to the course and go climbing and feel the joy of their new-found freedom!!
