Alcohol at High Trek Adventures

High Trek Adventures (HTA) is located on the Snohomish County (SnoCo) park called Paine Field Community park, as such we follow the county's guidelines for alcohol in parks.  The Washington state liquor board along with SnoCo parks have a strict policy regarding liquor on public property.  Parties wanting to have alcohol need to receive a permit from the State and permission from the county.

HTA has worked with SnoCo Parks in preparing an option for organizers that want alcohol at the venue.  In order to have events that allow the consumption of alcohol, HTA must be closed to the general public during the time alcohol is being consumed at the park. Parties must also have a specific enclosed area designated as an alcohol area (beer/wine tent).  HTA has this tent and required fencing that you will rent for an event with alcohol.

The consumption of cannabis is not permitted on the premises.

At HTA,  alcohol refers to the consumption of beer and wine.  Spirits are not allowed.  Alcohol will be consumed after a legal aged participant has climbed in our ropes course, not before or during.

(Participants cannot be under the influence of alcohol while they are in our ropes course)

There are two options for booking an event at HTA that allows the consumption of alcohol.

Option 1 -

Parties interested in booking an event at HTA with the option for alcohol will need to reserve the venue for a private party. This event will be closed to the general public, which means only your party will be on-site.  Private party rentals are available by 1 hour increments and are available 7 days a week.  Please call or email us if you are interested in reserving the venue.

Parties interested in this option will need to purchase a banquet permit from the State LCB. The cost for this permit is $10

Option 2 -

Periodically, HTA will set aside days that have slots that can be reserved for parties that wish to have alcohol. These slots are designed for smaller groups that wish to consume alcohol at HTA. With this option smaller groups can join other small groups to create a group large enough for a private venue rental.  Please call or email us if you are interested in this option.

Parties interested in this option will need to purchase a banquet permit from the State LCB. The cost for this permit is $10
